The party followed clues to the location of the portal leading back to their home plane. A lone magic user channeled the portal opening using a mysterious gem, allowing waves of undead to travel through. Jasp got the jump on her, but she soon turned invisible, leading the group to direct attacks wildly in all directions trying to locate her. Nayte summoned a terrible cloud of darkness, and the mage was killed by the unseen horrors within. With the crystal dropped to the ground, the portal began to close. The group rushed through, with Minis just barely making it through before it shut.
