After departing the Plane of Fire with mixed success – they did recover the Heart of the Fire Dragon, but lost Minis in the process – the group went to the nearby town of Emberville to recover and plan their next move. Just as they were entering the Dew Drop Inn, Jasp emerged. Having fulfilled his personal mission, he was looking to rejoin the group, and Curinax had sent him in this direction.
Boris and Jasp were introduced to each other. In a playful act of initiation, Jasp managed to pickpocket the hot dog tongs from Boris. Boris retaliated by licking a hot dog he prepared for Jasp, but was caught in the act. The group had a good laugh about it, and proceeded to plan their next destination.
