Ambush!

Last Updated on April 27, 2020 by Steve St. Ides

Upon returning to the Material Plane, the group finds themselves near a small farming village. At the local inn, they strike a deal with Vincenzo “Big Vinny” Gnombino to deliver a package and his niece to his brother in the city of Redwater. In exchange, Vita Gnombino will help provide guidance to the group to reach their next destination – the Plane of Air.

After Boris secures an old horse and wagon using his inferior negotiating skills, the group sets out for the trip. Along the road, they encounter a woman and a wounded man in the road asking for help. When Boris investigates, he realizes that the blood appears “old” and that this was a trap. Sure enough, an ambush is sprung from the surrounding woods! Boris, Jasp, and Lynx manage to fight off the attackers and make their way to Redwater.
